As we begin the school year, we are mourning the loss of a beloved member of the Little Miami Family. It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of longtime Little Miami teacher Debbie Combs. Debbie served our district for 18 years and was a beloved member of our Panther family.
Debbie was the kind of educator and colleague who left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Debbie went out of her way to lift others up—always offering a genuine compliment, a listening ear, or a helping hand. She often said she started each day by putting her two feet on the ground, excited and grateful to come to school.
Her love of teaching was evident in everything she did. Even in the face of challenges, Debbie chose positivity and brought light to those around her. Debbie’s legacy of kindness, joy, and dedication will forever be part of the Little Miami story. We will miss her deeply.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, August 20th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the gym at Little Miami Elementary School, located at 605 Welch Road, Morrow, OH. 45152.
This gathering will be a time to remember and honor Debbie’s life and the incredible impact she had on our school community during her time as an educator at Little Miami.
