Job Description:
Little Miami High School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Swim Coach to support the head coach in leading the boys’ and girls’ swim teams during the 2025–2026 season. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of competitive swimming, a passion for developing student-athletes, and a commitment to supporting the athletic and academic mission of Little Miami Schools.
Responsibilities Include:
• Assisting with planning and conducting daily practices
• Supporting individual and team development, skill improvement, and conditioning
• Helping manage meet day logistics, entries, and supervision
• Promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and academic accountability
• Communicating effectively with athletes, parents, and school administration
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of all student-athletes
Qualifications:
• Prior competitive swimming or coaching experience preferred
• Must meet all Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) and Little Miami Local Schools coaching requirements (e.g., Pupil Activity Permit, CPR, concussion training, etc.)
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Strong communication and organizational skills
