The Little Miami Local School District Board of Education seeks applications to fill the unexpired term of Board Member Dan Smith, who resigned March 10, 2026.
The Board must name a replacement within 30 days of Mr. Smith’s resignation. The newly appointed member will serve a two-year term expiring December 31, 2027. If the appointed member desires to continue serving, he or she must run for the seat in November of 2027 for a two-year term expiring December 31, 2029. Dan Smith was elected to the Board of Education in November 2025 and sworn in at the Board's January 6, 2026 Organizational meeting.
Those interested in serving on the Little Miami Local School District Board of Education should submit a resume which includes the following information:
· Age (must be at least 18)
· Residency within the Little Miami Local School District
· Registered Voter
· Current positions or offices held
Resumes will be accepted until close of business March 20, 2026. Resumes may be emailed to rmorgan@lmsdoh.org or dropped off at the District Office located at 95 East US 22-3; Maineville.
The Board of Education will meet in Executive Session on March 25, 2026 to review submitted resumes and applications. All action will be taken in public session.
