Holly Grooms

Little Miami Schools is proud to announce that Holly Grooms has been selected as the new Principal of Little Miami Primary School, pending approval by the Board of Education.

Grooms brings more than two decades of experience in education, including her most recent role as Assistant Principal at the Primary, where she has worked closely with students, staff, and families to create a positive and supportive learning environment. Her time in the district also includes several years as a classroom teacher, making her deeply familiar with the students and staff she will now serve as principal.

“Having served as the Assistant Principal here, I’ve had the great privilege of working alongside an exceptional team of educators, students, and families. This is a community I care deeply about, and I’m honored to continue growing with you in this new role,” Grooms said.

Throughout her leadership at Little Miami, she has played a key role in school-wide initiatives, including PBIS and MTSS teams, literacy improvement efforts, teacher mentoring, and community programs such as Veterans Day and Spelling Bee events.

Grooms added, “I’m committed to building on the strong foundation we’ve created together and to continuing our shared work of fostering an amazing environment where all students can thrive.”

Grooms holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Elementary Education with a minor in Public Relations from Morehead State University, a Master of Education with a reading concentration from Wilmington College, and most recently earned her Principal Licensure from the University of Cincinnati in 2023. She is also certified as a Master Teacher and has a Teacher Leader Endorsement.
