Little Miami Meal Program

Our meal program has been extended through June 26.

Food services for families in need
Little Miami Food Service is serving grab-and-go meals daily to any student.

  • Where: Salem Elementary School, 605 Welch Road, Morrow, at the car rider drop off spot at rear of building (View map)
  • Time: 11 a.m.– 1 p.m. daily
  • Menu: Hot entree with vegetable side, fruit serving and milk. Menu changes each week.
  • Check social media each week menus.

Other meal programs
Joshua’s Place and the Panther Backpack program will host food pick-up for families in need on Tuesdays 4-7 p.m. through April 21 at the old Fellowship Baptist Church building at the corner of US 22-3 and West Road in Maineville. Should families need further assistance, contact [email protected] or call (513) 899-5166.

Meal Program FAQs

Where do we pick up meals?
Salem Elementary School, 605 Welch Road, Morrow OH. Follow the signs around to the back of the building.

When are you open?
Meals can be picked up from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. daily Monday through Friday.

Who can get a meal?
Any child 0-18 years old.

Do the students/children need to be present?

Can anyone pick up the meals?
Yes.  Parents, guardians, neighbors, friends can pick up for any student or family.  We will ask for the names of the students/children. If you know someone who is unable to pick up meals, we encourage you to help them out.

What is included in the meal?
We give a packed breakfast and lunch for each student. Breakfast includes muffins, Pop Tarts, cereal, cereal bars, or mini donuts. Breakfast also include white milk, 100% juice and a fruit serving.

Lunch is a hot entrée and hot vegetable with a fruit serving and chocolate milk.  A weekly menu is published on Thursday the week prior.

Is the pick-up safe?
All food is prepared following strict heath department regulations and gloves are worn to deliver the food bags and containers. We ask that no one get out of the car. We prefer to have the trunk opened so that the food can be placed in the trunk. Staff maintains social distancing while preparing meals and continues to maintain social distancing during pick-up of the meals.
