Preschool teachers present at OCALICON

Posted on: November 27, 2016

Little Miami’s preschool program is home to our very youngest learners, some of whom have special health and learning needs.

The educators who lead our preschool classes are some of the best in their field, and have attracted national attention for their skills. LM preschool teachers were invited to present at OCALICON 2016, the nation’s premier conference on autism and disabilities held in Columbus.

Teachers Amber Huber, Amy Savage and LaQuita Schwartz presented a session called "FUNctional Communication: Increasing Language in Everyday Life."

Kathie O'Callaghan, Sara Harris and Annette Kosmac presented "Data. Differentiate. Adapt. Improving Student Outcomes in an Integrated Preschool Setting."

Congratulations to all for sharing their strategies with other educators!
