Celebrating our admin assistants!

Posted on: April 27, 2017

Wednesday, April 26 is Administrative Professionals Day, which highlights the important role of administrative professionals in all areas of our schools. In many ways, Little Miami’s administrative professionals are the face of the district, greeting parents and students, answering the phone, keeping track of student attendance and important school records, providing comfort to a little one having a bad day and dozens of other duties.

"There is no way to adequately thank our administrative professionals for all of the important work they do on behalf of Little Miami students, parents, teachers and administrators," Superintendent Greg Power said. "We are grateful for them every day, not just on April 26."

How long have you been with Little Miami? 16 years

What’s the best thing about being an LM admin? Working with all the other secretaries collaboratively. We are truly a team.

What’s one of the challenges of being an LM admin? Wearing several hats at once, trying to keep up with my job, but helping in other departments as well

Something that people may not know about you: I’ll try almost anything once --skydive, scuba dive, zipline. I grew up on a small airport just outside of Lebanon and was exposed to flying and skydiving at a very early age.  For my 16th birthday, my parents let me skydive. My dad flew the plane that dropped the Kings Island Skydivers for 8 years.
