Teachers at Little Miami Jr. High School recently honored their February students of the month with a pizza party. This month’s honorees are:

Cameron Hanes (nominated by Addis): Cameron has been wonderful to have in class.  He always has a smile on his face and is so friendly to everyone!  Cameron always goes above and beyond with his classwork and is always willing to help others. Cameron makes our class better!

Austin Kube (nominated by Thomas): Austin is really responsible and a bright young man, he is always thriving to achieve his best and takes his tasks seriously. He is always a hard worker and very nice and polite with the other students. He never hesitates to ask for help; Austin is a great example for the other students.

Conner Spangler (nominated by Dunigan): Conner is among the most respectful and cooperative students in Spanish this year.  I truly appreciate that I can always count on his positivity and kind demeanor.  From an academic standpoint, Conner’s work ethic is unfailing.  He never hesitates to seek help when needed. Despite being an  “A” student, he always completes options for extra credit and continues to seek advice and pursue any new strategy at his disposal to better his Spanish.  I’ve very proudly watched Conner take the initiative to step out of his comfort zone and volunteer or present even when it was difficult or he was feeling nervous.  It is a privilege to watch Conner grow each day in his abilities and confidence.

Nicholas Jackson (nominated by Oancea): Nicholas is very smart, always prepared for class, turns in all his work on time and is a very positive student who always has a smile on his face. He is so respectful and has very good insights to share in his assignments. He is always on task and works very hard in class!

Selena Geary (nominated by Mason): Selena is such a positive, hard working, well behaved student. She comes to school every day with a big smile on her face, ready to work. She is also a great asset to the library as a library aide. She loves to read and is a reliable resource for students looking for recommendations. Little Miami is lucky to have Selena representing our student body.

Destiny Bird (nominated by Shively): Destiny is a great student in the classroom.  She always has a positive attitude and offers 100% effort.  When presented with a challenge she tries to figure out a solution independently before seeking assistance.  She is extremely helpful when working with other students and is always respectful to her teachers.

Faith Wethington (nominated by Rockey): Faith comes to school with a great attitude and wants to succeed at everything. She has maintained positive relationships with peers and teachers. She is also a great leader for other students to follow.

Owen Remenowsky (nominated by Wilson): Owen is a polite, hard-working, and responsible student who gets along well with his peers and teachers. He comes to school with a positive attitude each day, is always ready to work and never complains. Owen participates in class and sets a great example for others.
