All Eligible PK-12 Grade Students May Join "Test & Stay" Program on Oct. 5

Little Miami Schools is ready to welcome students of all LM buildings into the “Test and Stay” quarantine alternative pilot program starting Tuesday, October 5th. Beginning October 5th, if any student in grades PK-12 is identified as a direct contact (directly exposed to a person with COVID-19, are unmasked, unvaccinated, and are within 3 feet of a person with COVID-19 for at least 15 minutes) they will be eligible to participate in the program, allowing them to stay in school if they meet specific requirements.  

As a reminder, in order to be eligible for & participate in the quarantine alternative program, a student must:

  • Meet the direct contact definition listed above,
  • be asymptomatic,
  • return a signed consent form to Elizabeth Kusler, Warren County ESC Nurse, at the Little Miami Central Office Testing Location (95 E. US 22&3, Maineville, OH 45039)
  • remain masked with a multi-layer surgical style mask at school; provided by the district,
  • submit to testing immediately upon identification that they are a direct contact and again between days 5-7 of exposure,
  • quarantine at home when not in school and not participate in any extracurricular or athletic activities.
