Update to Primary Election Procedure
Posted on: April 2, 2020
Ohio’s primary election day was March 17, but voters who did not get a chance to get to the polls because of the coronavirus outbreak may still cast their ballot.
The Ohio General Assembly approved a plan Wednesday to eliminate most in-person voting for the primary and to extend absentee voting until April 28, not the June 2 date proposed at one time by Gov. Mike DeWine.
If you have not already cast your ballot, you must now request an absentee ballot and mail it back in. You may request a ballot here, print the request and mail it to the Warren County Board of Elections. If you do not have access to a printer, you may call the Board of Elections at (513) 695-1358 and request an absentee ballot.
