The Ohio Career Information System (OCIS) is a comprehensive software program desighned to help teens and adults explore occupations; research programs of study and training, colleges and universities, and sources of financial aid; assess their skills and interests; and learn job skills. You will need to get the username and password from your counselor or Mrs. Chilcote.

LearningExpress Library. More than 100 programs to learn, practice and prepare for tests on a variety of subjects in elementary, middle and high school. You will need to get the username and password from your counselor or Mrs. Chilcote. Wonderful resource for all college and career entrance exams. Click on Core Collection, click on Learning Express, Click on Learning Express again, sign-in and click on Area of Interest.

You will get your results faster online. Answers are edited and fewer mistakes are made. The U.S. Department of Education Pin is the key to online financial aid. Apply for your pin early to get a head start on financial aid.

COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP SERVICE FINANCIAL AID PROFILE

For financial aid, all students should complete the (FAFSA). Some will also complete the PROFILE. Certain colleges, universities and private scholarship programs collect additional information to assist in the awarding of aid through non-federal financial aid programs. To receive the PROFILE registration materials, students much complete a registration packet first (available in the Guidance Office), then call 1-800-778-6888 to register for the customized PROFILE application or visit College Board Online at www.collegeboard.com. Students should check with the colleges to which they are applying to see if they are required to register with the PROFILE.
