The Little Miami Intermediate School is fortunate to have a
vibrant PTO. This past year's PTO was a melding of three different
school families.

We Need You!
The PTO is in need of committee chairs for a variety of activities.
Committee chair positions can be shared with friends. Some of the
committees are: Box Tops, COSI on Wheels, Hospitality, Penny Wars,
Book Fair, etc.)

Our PTO sponsored a drama about Harriet Tubman, brought to us by the efforts of our cultural enrichment chair, Deb Davidson. Mrs. Davidson also kicked off the LMIS essay contest that will be judged by a top secret judge. (REALLY top secret!) We also were able to present substantial checks to Matthew 25 Ministries ($3,600) and the Leukemia & Lymphoma society ($4,000), thanks to the generous participation of our kids and families in two PTO events, cookie dough sales and Penny Wars. As a reward to the classes that had the most points and brought in the most money for Penny Wars, the teachers of those classes got to hit Mr. Turner in the face with a cream pie. What Mr. Turner didn't realize was there were SIX winners, meaning SIX pies!!

PTO brought COSI on Wheels to the Intermediate School for a presentation on Energy. Parent volunteers helped to make this a very special event!

PTO sponsored a Book Fair in December for students to purchase books.
