Food Drive

Thank you to all of our third grade families who donated food items for the Morrow Food Pantry this holiday season! This food drive was sponsored by our IS PTO and a local Girl Scout troop.

Third grade classes at the Intermediate school won the contest to bring in the most items. The entire grade level at LMIS saw the Polar Express on the big screen in our cafeteria and were treated to popcorn.

Thanks to everyone at the Intermediate School who helped with the Food Drive. Many families will appreciate the generosity as they eat their holiday meals.

With the help of Dr. Kilowatt, students at Little Miami Intermediate School learned about creating energy with both renewable and non-renewable resources. Students tested the power of wind and learned about energy conservation, and worked to complete a circuit. Students also got to participate in demonstrations and saw how saving energy can save the planet.
