Each year the Little Miami School District applies for available Title Government Grants (Title I, IIA, IID, IV, IDEA, ECSE IDEA, Stimulus Funds). Little Miami was awarded a total of $1,586,542 for the 2009-10 school year.
For the 2009-2010 school year, Salem Township Elementary and Little Miami Intermediate will be receiving the Title 1 funding. Parents of students attending a Little Miami school that receives Title 1, Part A funding have the right to know the professional qualifications of the classroom teachers who instruct their children. As of September 2009, the teachers assigned to STE and LMIS meet the Federal and state standards and are considered Highly Qualified Teachers
