TRANSPORTATION

The Little Miami Local Schools Department of Transportation is committed to providing safe, timely, efficient busing that contributes to the overall excellence of the district. The department transports more than 2,800 public, non public, special needs and pre-school students to and from school daily.

Bus routes are created during the summer. Bus stop information for the upcoming school year is mailed out August 13. Information includes bus number, stop location, pick up and drop off times.

Little Miami Local Schools is responsible for students once they board the bus, while parents are responsible for the safety and supervision of their children to and from the bus stop and while waiting for the bus.

Daycare and alternate bus routing information is not carried over from year to year. A new alternate transportation form must be filled out. Please use the Transportation Enrollment Form below. If parents have a safety concern with a bus stop they may fill out an appeal form and send to the transportation department.

A transportation staff member will be at each open house to discuss safety and help parents and students with busing questions.

At this time of year the transportation department is one of the busiest departments in the district. It may be difficult to reach us. There will be someone to answer the phones from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Please leave a message if it is after hours, and we will return your call as soon as possible.
