Welcome to CORE
The Ohio Department of Education is completing another stage of a product for the benefit of educators, students and parents. Connected Ohio Records for Educators (CORE)
http://www.ode.state.oh.us/teaching-profession/core/faqs.asp#core_stands_for
will allow Ohio educators to apply for their state teaching license using the internet. Principals, teachers and other licensed educators can complete application forms online and pay electronically using a credit card.
It also will allow the entities responsible for recommending educators for credentials to provide their recommendations online using a web-based interface easily accessible from a computer connected to the Internet.
Beginning May 2005, you can apply for a new educator license or renew an existing license. Access this web site and follow the instructions core.ode.state.oh.us
When you apply for a new license or renew a license via the online site please contact Patrick Dubbs, Coordinator-Designee Little Miami Local Professional Development Committee so that the district is aware you have applied and can grant approval for the application.

The Warren County Educational Service Center is offering T.E.S.A., a program designed to heighten a teacher's awareness of how his/her expectations/behaviors affect student achievement.
Learn how easy-to-adapt methods such as practicing proximity, employing wait time, and demonstrating personal regard can positively affect students. The five training sessions provide a variety of tips for teachers to get the most out of all students. Sessions are enhanced by team practice between his/her use of "expectations" in the classroom.

Attention all who may be administrating medications to students during
school:
The Ohio Department of Health requires annual training to be
able to administer medications. To accomodate your busy schedule,
training now will be available at your fingertips. Please view the
powerpoint presentation, print the medication test, then give your
completed test to your building's school nurse. Your building school
nurse may ask you to demostrate how to give the epineprine pen,
glucagon, and inhalers if needed for any of your students. Have any
