Please start working with your child nightly on memorizing their addition math facts. Start with the small numbers, 0, 1, and 2 and work your way up! This is something they will be tested on regularly in the second grade and it really makes them feel confident to go in knowing the addition facts. Flash cards are a great way to practice!
