Through our partnership with "Warren County Educational Service Center", we currently offer seven preschool sessions. There are four morning classes and three afternoon classes. Little Miami School District independently operates one morning and one afternoon pre-k class and an additional morning class (which this website pertains to) while the Warren County Educational Service Center operates "two morning and afternoon classes".
The preschool program is based upon the "Ohio Department of Education Early Learning Content Standards"
We currently offer preschool services to children ages 3-5 identified as having a disability condition through the school district's evaluation process. The students who qualify for special education services are served through a continuum of services (itinerant services or center based services in the preschool classroom). The students' special needs may be in the areas of communication, motor development, social/emotional development, adaptive, vision, hearing, and/or cognitive development.
Typically developing peers are also enrolled in the preschool program. Parents are responsible for providing transportation for their typically developing children. Tuition for typically developing peers for the 2010-2011 will be $180 monthly. There is also a $80 non-refundable supply fee.
Each classroom consists of seven students who have qualified for special education services and seven typically developing peers with a licensed teacher and paraprofessional.
