On Tuesday, November 18th, we will start taking our daily timed tests. Students have taken four tests in class as a practice for the tests to come. Your child will bring home his/her scored test daily so you can see how he/she is doing. On each test there are 40 math facts. I will time for one minute. To go on to the next set of facts, your child must achieve a score that is one point higher than their previous score....my hope is that students will not be stress as much knowing that they do not have to get a majority of the answers correct. They just need to improve on their personal best score to go ahead with the next set of math facts. Students will review with other students and score their own tests on a daily basis. My goal is to test four days a week. Please let me know if you have any questions. This will take us through addition, subtraction, and some students will be ready to go on to multiplication.

READING COMPREHENSION TEST ON CHINATOWN WILL BE ON TUESDAY NOVEMBER 18. COMPREHENSION TEST ON "A TRIP TO THE FIREHOUSE" WILL BE MONDAY NOVEMBER 24.THAT WILL BE THE FINAL TEST BEFORE THANKSGIVING BREAK.

TEST ON "A TRIP TO THE FIREHOUSE" SPELLING WORDS WILL BE GIVIN ON FRIDAY NOVEMBER 21. THAT WILL BE THE LAST TEST UNTIL AFTER THANKSGIVING BREAK.
