Bag of Books

Your child will be bringing home little books in a ziploc bag daily. Please read these with your child and return them back to school everyday. We will be adding to the bag weekly. Please record the books you read with your child. The reading sheet should be kept with the bag of books. You and your child can also read books at home to record on the sheet, in addition to the books I'll send home. Please read to your child 15 minutes each night. This time will increase as your child learns to read better. Remember, it is important to return the bag of books to school everyday. On Friday, I will keep their bag of books and then on Monday, they will received new books to read for the week.

PLEASE INCREASE READING TIME TO 15 MINUTES NOW. THANKS FOR YOUR COOPERATION. THIS WILL REALLY HELP YOUR CHILD BE A BETTER READER.

Please make sure your child has proper clothes for gym on Tuesday and Thursday.

Please make sure your child remembers their library book on Tuesday.

Report Cards

Reports cards will be going home on Wednesday, Nov. 19th. If you have not paid your school fees, you will not be receiving your child's report card.

Native American Week

This week we are having our Native American week. The first grade classes are rotating rooms to learn about a specific Indian tribe. Ask your child what Native American Tribe they have learned today at school.
