Bag of Books

Your child will be bringing home little books in a ziploc bag daily.  Please read these with your child and return them back to school everyday.  We will be adding to the bag weekly.  Please record the books you read with your child.  The reading sheet should be kept with the bag of books.  You and your child can also read books at home to record on the sheet, in addition to the books I'll send home.  Please read to your child 10 minutes each night.  This time will increase as your child learns to read better.  Remember, it is important to return the bag of books to school everyday.  On Friday, I will keep their bag of books and then on Monday, they will received new books to read for the week.

Important Dates - October

Month of  October -  October 6 - 11th - Count Week (Attendance is a must). Oct. 13th - Columbus Day - No school,  Oct. 15th -  Parent - Teacher Conference, Oct. 21st - 90 minute delay, October 23rd - Parent - Teacher Conference.

Specials Schedule - 1st Trimester

Monday - Music,          Wednesday - P.E.           Friday -  Music. Tuesday - Library & Art               Thursday - Art Please make sure your child has proper clothes for gym on Wednesday. Please make sure your child remembers their library book on Tuesday.

Parent - Teacher Conference

Conference will be on Wednesday, October 15th, and Thursday, October 23rd.  If you would like a conference please send in the form.

Interim Progress Report

The interim progress report went home on Friday, please make sure you review and sign it.  Please send it back to school.
