In Third Grade, We have created a grade-level behavior and homework reward system. Fun Friday is a weekly reward that takes place during the last 30 minutes on Friday afternoons. Any student who has earned less than 3 warnings for the week and has completed all classwork and homework will be invited to participate. These students will be given 30 minutes to participate in an educational activity. The students may only participate in that activity once a month. Examples of activities are recess/outside play; crafts; Science/Math activities. The students who have not earned the reward will be in study hall.

 Fun Friday Guidelines*

Missing Homework: 

First trimester-if a student misses 2 homework assignments the student will miss all of Fun Friday. 2nd and 3rd trimester- if a student misses 1 homework assignment the student will miss all of Fun Friday. During this time the student will complete the missed work.

Behavior:

2 warnings -15 minutes

1st trimester-if a student receives 5 warnings for behavior the student will miss all of Fun Friday. During 2nd and 3rd Trimester if a student receives 3 warnings (yellow card changes) in a week- miss all of Fun Friday.

*These guidelines will change as we progress through the year. Classwork: Students will be given the opportunity to finish classwork at our daily second recess. If it can not be completed during that time then the student will need to miss Fun Friday until it is completed. Once it is completed the student may join in an activity.
