Math Fact Expectations
Grade 1
Fluency in addition facts with addends through 9 and corresponding subtractions. Example: 9 + 9 =18, 18 - 9 =9
Grade 2
Fluency in addition facts with addends through 12 and corresponding subtractions. Example: 12 + 12 =24, 24 - 12 =12
Grade 3
Fluency in multiplilcation facts through 10 and corresponding division facts for a minimum of: 50 facts in three minutes or 100 facts in five minutes, bi-weekly
Grade 4
Fluency in multiplication facts through 12 and corresponding division facts, 100 facts in five minutes, bi-weekly
