Dear Families,
We are very happy about the progress our students are making! Our latest round of DIBELS screening (Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills) showed us that our students are all gaining the important skills that are needed to be good readers. Your child's teacher will be discussing your child's progress with you at our upcoming parent/teacher conferences. Mrs. Horvath, our reading specialist, will also be available to help with reading information. Please contact your child's teacher if you have not been able to schedule a conference time yet.
Our students enjoyed Mad Science presentations in their classrooms on Jan. 30. Playing with Polymers was the name of this year's program. Ask your child to share what they learned with you if they haven't already done so.
Kindergarten Registration packets are now available for pick up. Packets can be picked up from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday through Friday at the Bd. Office. The first KG Registration night will be held on Feb. 21st, from Noon-8:00 PM at Little Miami High School in the cafeteria.
Other registration dates are:
March 13th from 5-8 P.M.
April 8th from 5-8 P.M.
and May 5th from 4-7 P.M.

Feb. 4 - 8 - State Count Week - Please do not take students out of school this week unless they are ill. This is our week to count students attending for state funding.

Feb. 4 - Maineville PTO Meeting

Feb. 5 - Miss Ohm's day conferences by appointment
Bob Sullo Presentation for parents at LMHS at 7:00 PM

Feb. 6 - Mrs. Ison's day conferences by appointment

Feb. 7 - Mrs. Dicks' day conferences by appointment
All teachers' evening conferences by appointment

Feb. 8 - Miss Jackson's day conferences by appointment
Mrs. Pennix's day conferences by appointment

Feb. 9 - Maineville Elementary and Kindergarten Annex Winterfest at Maineville Elementary

Feb. 12 - Delayed Start- Little Miami Kindergarten Annex doors will open for A.M. students at 10:20. Students will be starting school at 10:30 and leaving school at 12:30. Students arriving after 10:35 will be marked tardy. Car riders should be picked up at 12:20. Our doors will open for P.M. students at 1:40. Students will be starting school at 1:50 and leaving school at 3:50. Students arriving after 1:55 will be marked tardy. Car riders should be picked up at 3:40. Please do not drop students off before the doors open. Thanks for your cooperation!

Feb. 14 - Valentine's Day

Feb. 18 - No School - Presidents' Day

Feb. 21 - All teachers' evening conferences by appointment
First Kindergarten Registration Day from 12:00 - 8:00 PM at Little Miami High School in the cafeteria. Please bring your completed registration packet on this date.

Feb. 22 - End of trimester

Feb 23 - PantherFest at Little Miami High School

Feb. 25 - No School - Teacher Inservice Day

Feb. 26 - Morrow PTO Meeting

Feb. 28 - Report cards go home with students who have paid fees
