Cheating and Plagiarism

Student / Teachers Contract

Cheating

1.    Cheating is allowing another or others to look off of your schoolwork.

2.    Cheating is looking off of another person's schoolwork.

3.    Cheating is using another person's words for your own.

4.    Cheating is having someone do your work for you.

* Schoolwork can be a test, quiz, homework, class work, or any other work that is assigned by your teacher.

 

Consequences

(from the student handbook)

1st offense: Handled by classroom teacher with loss of credit for the test or homework (notify parent and administrator)

2nd offense:  Handled by classroom teacher with loss of credit for the trimester (notify parent and administration)

3rd offense:  Refer to administrator
