The Little Miami Local School District has adopted the Everyday Mathematics program to be used with all elementary students. It is part of an elementary school mathematics curriculum developed by the University of Chicago School Mathematics Project.
Throughout the year parents will receive Family Letters to keep them informed of the mathematical content their child will be studying in each unit. Each letter will include a vocabulary list, suggested Do-Anytime Activities for parents and children, and an answer guide to selected Study Link (homework) activities. Study Links are the Everyday Mathematics version of homework assignments. Each lesson has a Study Link that consists of active projects and ongoing review problems that show parents what the children can do in mathematics.
