Wax Museum Information
What is the Wax Museum?
The Wax Museum is the culminating project for the 2nd grade Social Studies Unit Famous People of the United States. Throughout the unit students will choose a famous American to study and write a report. The report will be written in first person so that the kids can really become the famous American. At the wax museum students will actually become their famous American by dressing up like that person. During the wax museum the students will be seated at their desk. They will have a button on their desk and when it is pushed, the students will stand up and recite their report. Therefore, the more ≥in character the students become, the more believable and fun the museum will be!
