Friday, September 17th - NFL PLAY 60 Back to Football
Where: Parking Lot of the Park Church (on the corner of Zoar Rd. and 22/3)
When: Tailgate celebration starts at 5 p.m.
Events:
- Blooms and Berries Mum Sale
- movie night featuring 'The
Game Plan" (7pm) inside the building
- The Back to Football Friday
event will enter us into a contest to win $10,000 and a visit from an
NFL player from www.NFLrush.com. Go to the website and vote for our school.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Are you looking for ways to get involved in Maineville's PTO this year? Here are some great opportunities:
- Market Day chairperson - will be in charge of monthly Market Day activities, including volunteer scheduling; Contact Kelly Nagel (kelpher_2000@yahoo.com) to receive more info.
- Fall Art Fundraiser chairperson - will need to coordinate classroom artwork project, mailing order forms, and organize volunteers if needed
- Boxtops and Campbell's labels chair-people (two are preferred)
- Popcorn Friday coordinator - will schedule volunteers for popcorn Fridays (twice a month) and help out popping if needed

The students and staff of Maineville Elementary are very fortunate to have a very active and supportive PTO. The PTO has provided many opportunities for the students including guest speakers and in-school programs.
Interested in seeing what the PTO is all about? We would love to see you at a meeting!

 Make sure to keep an eye out for the monthly newsletter (which is printed on yellow paper) that will be coming home in your child's backpack.

Papa John's Night is the first Tuesday of each month. Call in your order and mention that it's for Maineville Elementary. 15% of proceeds go to Maineville Elementary. Check out the website here: Papa Johns
Spiritwear orders will be taken monthly on the first of each month and will be sent home in your child's backpack by the end of each month. Order forms are available by clicking the link for spiritwear, in the office or by calling Laura Loftin @ 683-2037. Sample sizes are available in the office. Market Day orders are available monthly by order forms coming home in your child's backpack or sign up to get updates and order online. Pickup dates are posted on order forms and orders are picked up in the cafeteria. You can order online here: PTO Market Day
All students love to skate and rollerblade. Come join the fun! Castle Skating Party Dates for 2010 - 2011 are:

 Recycling Juice Pouches
Please send in any used juice pouches (rinsed out, no straws). We will send them away to be recycled and will receive 2 cents per pouch. To find out more information about this program visit http://www.terracycle.net/ .
